Description: A heavy duty Ultra High Molecular Weight PE film coated with a an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive and supplied on a release liner. A 0.30 mm film of high tack modified acrylic adhesive designed to bond to variety of LSE substrates.

Application:  UHMW is used as a permanent anti-abrasion finish and for providing a low coefficient of friction to surfaces to reduce chafe and abrasion. May be used as a permanent protection tape on surfaces. Used on guide rails, door and draw slides and chute linings to provide slip and reduce wear

Technical Details:

Surface Preparation:  The surface on which the tape is to be used must be clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Remember that pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with the maximum possible pressure in order to achieve maximum adhesion levels. The recommended application temperature is between 10ºC and 25ºC.

Storage:  Tapes stored below the minimum application temperature will require warming up to that level before use. Up to 24 hours may be required for this to take place.
